Change is constant, and for growth to take place, change is necessary. The eagle, for instance, is one of the birds with the longest lifespan. An eagle can live for 70 years, but once it clicks 40, it becomes hard for the eagle to fly or hunt food because it’s feathers would have become heavy, and its sharp, long beak becomes blunt.
To prevent dying a slow death, the eagle undergoes a 150-day change by going to a mountain top and knocking off its beak and waiting for several days for a new one to grow. It also pulls out the heavy feathers until it can fly again.
This process is painful but worth it. And many of us, as humans, also need to go through a painful process of change to achieve our desired goals in life.
