OVERCOMING REJECTION

Rejection is the sense of being unwanted. You believe people do not love you because you do not feel their love. You have been abandoned by your father, mother, siblings, husband, wife, boss, friend, or business partner.

You have experienced betrayal from one or more persons closest to you, and you seem to be unable to get over it. The pain of rejection cannot be avoided, but you can choose not to allow that pain to ruin the rest of your life.

Do not park at the point of your pain because Jesus was rejected too. In the face of rejection, focus on achieving your purpose, and just maybe, at the end of the day, you will be better for it.

HOW A LEADERS THINK’S

A person’s way of thinking is their philosophy that either makes or destroys the people they are leading. And if you do not change your mind and manner of thinking, you will never become a leader.

Your attitude determines your limitation and how far you go is hinged on your belief system. A leader cannot lead beyond their belief system and attitude.

A person’s attitude is their way of manifesting their philosophy, and philosophy is the product of personal ideas. As a leader, the first thing you should have in your mind is that everyone is a leader, and by so doing, leading becomes easier and better done.

CHANGE

Change is constant, and for growth to take place, change is necessary. The eagle, for instance, is one of the birds with the longest lifespan. An eagle can live for 70 years, but once it clicks 40, it becomes hard for the eagle to fly or hunt food because it’s feathers would have become heavy, and its sharp, long beak becomes blunt.

To prevent dying a slow death, the eagle undergoes a 150-day change by going to a mountain top and knocking off its beak and waiting for several days for a new one to grow. It also pulls out the heavy feathers until it can fly again.

This process is painful but worth it. And many of us, as humans, also need to go through a painful process of change to achieve our desired goals in life.

GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

During tough times, staying resolute and not giving up are the most important things to do. Tough people will always outlast tough times.

And when you fall, what matters most is your victory. Giving up is human nature because of the fear of falling and not succeeding, but when you do that, you never find out if you would have succeeded.

It is a lot better to try and fail than not try at all. To forge ahead, figure out what exactly is causing your failure and deal with it. Is it fear, procrastination, a relationship, self-doubt, or laziness? Figure it out and get rid of it!

DO THE DIFFICULT THINGS

Anybody can do anything that they feel like doing. Whether it is visiting the gym or giving 100 percent at work. But truly successful people are successful because they do the hard stuff that most people wouldn’t do

Most times, those things that you do not feel like doing are the things that you need to get done to pave your way to success. That is why you need to be disciplined and diligent at what is required to attain success.

We must cultivate the habit of doing things without being told, without supervision, doing hard stuff, and yet getting them done. That is the kind of work that matters and few habits you need to achieve success.
